anadian policed separated pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protesters
in Toronto today. The Palestine House organized a crowd of around two
thousand protesters at Yonge-Dundas Square faced off by a smaller group
of people organized by the Jewish Defense League across the street at
Eton Centre. The Palestinian supporters were taking part in a march
first to the Israeli consulate on Bloor Street and eventually to the
U.S. consulate on University Avenue later in the afternoon.
